MINI TENNIS RATINGS GUIDE

Mini tennis ratings are designed to get players under 10 to compete more, so they develop their game. All players will be given a level 4 rating based on the ball colour they will be competing with.

To get a rating go to www.lta.org.uk/membership.

Summer season: 1st April-31st August
Winter season: 1st September- 31st March

• Players aged 8 or under at the end of the season will be playing red ball
• Players aged 9 at the end of the season will be playing orange ball
• Players aged 10 at the end of the season will be playing green ball

Players can move up to the next colour ball earlier than their age allows if they make it to level 1 in their colour.

Move from Red 1 to Orange 4 two seasons early.

Orange 1 rated players can play green ball competition in their last season.

Green 1 rated players can play yellow ball competition in their last season
