The Lavery Cup - Monday Ladies v Tuesday Ladies!

This term's battle between the Monday and Tuesday Ladies squads took place on Monday 22nd March in windy but bright conditions, and we had a fantastic turn out with 20 players overall playing a total of 42 games each over 2 and a half hours! Well done to everyone, there must have been a few tired legs after that!

After a good start the Monday group went out into the lead, however after a long battle with opponents and the ever increasing wind the Tuesday group came out winners and retained the magnificent trophy that is - The Lavery Cup! Can you see it being held in the photo? (Click to photo enlarge)

Afterwards, a tremendous spread was put on by the Monday ladies (which I missed!) and as you can see from the photo everyone had a good time!
